The psychology of most humans is that they are always in a rush; to go home, pick up the kids, go shopping, and a lot of relatable things, and this is fine but not. Do you know why?

These little acts of yours could lead to a life-changing experience for you.

Imagine you have a job interview by 10 am, and you overslept and wake up by 9 am. You have to rush to the interview venue before 10 am.

I hope you are still imagining; let's say you aren't even driving, have booked a cab, and tell the driver you are in a hurry.

I'm sure you are getting the idea of the message I'm passing on to you.

Behold! On your way, due to the rush on the express, as everyone does early in the morning when your driver is about to slide right and doesn't observe the mirror, the next thing you can hear is, "call the ambulance."

The situation above can be one of the most confusing moments of your life because you are trying to remember the event of occurrence. You are still in a state of shock and total confusion.

Snap snap!!!

Back to reality, what do you have to say for yourself? Did you want to risk your life for a job that is not guaranteed? You wanted to risk the life of a stranger (driver) because you were in a hurry? Or did you not care about the other road users, like the pedestrians and car drivers? All these are factors why you should constantly rethink your choices!

Your life! Their lives matter! Life is a sacred thing to be cherished.

Remember "YOLO (You only live once)"!

You might be like, what about the other car drivers that drive recklessly? The first sign of a good road and car user is, "Drive like you are the only one that knows what they are doing." This little act will save you a lot.

I mean it!

Besides, you might say, "Taxi drivers are the worst on the road." Do you know that they also think that fellow car drivers do not know what they are doing?

There you have it, two sides of a coin.

The road will always be there, except when there are portholes. Nevertheless, the road will be there whether you use it or not.

People have lost their lives, some are still injured, a few are hospitalized, and lots more.

Your life, your choice! Their life, their choice! You still have a right over a fellow human, and that right is to protect while you can.

These tips would go a long way for you to become an excellent road user.

Even though you are in a hurry, and it is an emergency, put on your "triangle light"; that way, you are notifying other road users that something is wrong with your car, or it is an emergency, and they will try to pave the road for you or leave your lane.

The second tip is to check your tires in the morning; this may seem minor, but it goes a long way. Tires could cause road accidents, and you might have encountered an accident on the road due to a tire!

This tip is a game-changer; take note of this! MIRRORS. Are your mirrors appropriately aligned? Can you see the other sides of the road efficiently without tuning your neck in a direction I do not understand 😅? Your mirrors should be your little kids from today onwards.

The final tip here is to check your car's oil levels. These include braking and clutch fluids, battery, power steering, automatic transmission fluids, radiator coolant reservoirs, and engine oil. Check your car's oil level; if it's dirty or low, make sure to replace it. Additionally, be sure you check the coolant and water levels. To determine whether additional coolant is needed, it is imperative to check the radiator coolant levels.

There you have it! Your life, their life, or the roads? Stay safe.
